Valentines Day the CHARLES Way

My husband Leonard is one thoughtful GUY. He gives me flowers for no reason WHY.  He checks on me throughout the DAY just to make sure that I’m OKAY. He makes my coffee superbly RIGHT and he coaxes me to relax at NIGHT. He rubs my neck, my back, and FEET. He soothes my soul and he’s ohhhhhh so SWEET…

…and now this, such a classy valentines day gift from my sweetheart.  Mr. Charles, thanks love for the beautiful gift that keeps on giving…love ya babe! 😍😘

Eating Clean and Lean in 2017…

“Life Coach Babs Tortilla Veggie Pizza”

Pre-heat oven to 350°

Step 1:  Spread your favorite creamy alfredo sauce on a 12″ tortilla.  Then lightly sprinkle the tortilla with garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor. Add baby spinach as first layer.

Step 2:  Slice grape tomatoes and add as second layer.
Step 3:  Add red peppers, green peppers, onion, ripe olives, mushrooms, and feta cheese as final layer.Step 4:  Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

Step 5:  Slice, eat, and enjoy!!!

Eating Clean and Lean in 2017…

Life Coach Babs famous “Homemade Hearty Vegetable Soup” Recipe

I love soup…so here is a recipe I made up myself…I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Step 1: Select your spices. I use garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cilantro, crushed red pepper flakes, course ground pepper and course ground Himalayan pink sea salt…

Step 2: Select your veggies. I use potatoes, carrots, peas, corn, green beans, lima beans, okra, celery, onions, broccoli, and tomatoes…

Step 3: In a large pot, “Cook” all spices in EVOO, Coconut Oil, or Butter it’s your choice …use about 2 to 3 tablespoons (take care not to burn your spices)…

Step 4: Add all the veggies to the “cooked” spices, making sure all veggies are coated very well with the spices…

Step 5: Add about 16 oz. veggie broth to the veggies, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally…once the boil starts, remove from heat…you don’t want to over cook your veggies…

Step 6: Serve up a large bowl and ENJOY!!
