Morning Meditation with Life Coach Babs…think on these things:

“Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power.”

“Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness.”

“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp.”

“Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.”

“Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.”

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”

‭‭-Psalms‬ ‭150:1-6‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

Morning Meditation with Life Coach Babs… think on these things:

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.”

“My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand.”
‭‭-John‬ ‭10:27-29‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

Morning Meditation with Life Coach Babs…think on these things:

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:57-58‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

Morning Meditation with Life Coach Babs…think on these things:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

‭‭- John‬ ‭3:16-18‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

Freedom In Christ

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” ‭‭-Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

My Pastor (who’s also my adorable husband), put me in rotation at church to teach Sunday School and yesterday, I had the awesome opportunity to teach the lesson, “Freedom in Christ “; which was taken from Galatians chapter 5, verses 1 through 17.

It’s always a wonderful experience for me when I share the word of God with others.

As I am sharing God’s word and praying to be a blessing to someone else, His word has a supernatural “boomerang” effect and It blesses me as well — my husband calls that a “serendipity blessing”… a blessing from God that was totally unexpected!

Can any of you relate to the boomerang effect of God’s word? Isn’t it totally awesome!

Have you also experienced a serendipity blessing from God? Isn’t it tremendous!

My prayer for you today, as you are sharing God’s word, that you will also experience the boomerang effect of His word.

As you are going about your normal business, on this marvelous Monday, I pray that you too will receive many serendipity blessings!

Let’s have an attitude of gratitude and let’s be truly appreciative as we walk, today and every day, in our wonderful “Freedom in Christ”!

May God’s choice blessings abound and much love to you all from Life Coach Babs.

The Art of Saving

There is a word that is resonating in my spirit: “SAVING”…why is this word ringing so loudly in my head?

This is the year for saving and preparation… just as the little squirrel packs in his nuts in preparation for the winter, we should do the same in the new year.

It is always a good idea to save and I do have a savings plan; however, the word “saving” is strongly resonating in my spirit for this year.  Do you hear it as well?

If you do not have a savings plan or if you do not know where to start, here are a few tips to help you begin your savings plan*:

1) start small – any amount will eventually grow;
2) start with what you already have – never buy into the lie that you don’t make enough money;
3) be consistent – set a specific date to make a deposit and you will soon develop a habit of saving;
4) set a fixed amount – you will become accustomed to saving this set amount and then eventually you will be able to increase it;
5) don’t ever feel guilty about the size of the amount or if you failed to make a deposit;
6) watch your savings grow – nothing is more rewarding than growing from $0 to $1,000+ in a matter of months!!

Courage to Start Over

Don’t ever be afraid to start over.

It doesn’t matter which phase of life you are in or where you are in your relationship.

There will always be an opportunity to make a fresh start if needed.

Starting over is like diving into a large swimming pool filled with cold water.

Imagine, it’s a sweltering summer day, you’re extremely hot, you’re sweaty, and you really need to cool off.

You come across a nice swimming pool filled with clean, clear cold water.

If you only dip your toes in to test the waters, you will more than likely change your mind. You’re thinking it’s just too cold to dive in.

However, if you’re hot enough and you’re uncomfortable and you really want to cool off, you must muster up the courage, plant your feet firmly, take a deep breath, and dive in immediately!

Before you know it, your body temperature will begin to adjust to the water. You will start to feel extremely comfortable and cool. You may even start to wonder, “why didn’t I do this sooner?”

Why not begin today?  A new day is like a new year — you can begin again.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
-Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

Learn the lesson, leave the past in the past and move forward.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
-Philippians 3:13 (KJV)

Just as it takes courage to dive into the swimming pool filled with cold water, it will also take some degree of courage to start over.  Not having the courage to make a fresh start will make you very uncomfortable.

However, with every new beginning comes along exciting experiences and opportunities.

The choice to start over begins with you.

Morning Meditation with Life Coach Babs…think on these things:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
‭‭-Philippians‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
