How Does Self-Care Benefit Your Marriage or Relationship 

Being intentional about self-care creates a healthy environment in a marriage or relationship.

The way we love ourselves is how we are to love others.

The Bible tells us “…Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” ~ Matthew 22:39 (KJV)

Having healthy eating habits, maintaining good hygiene, getting sufficient exercise, being well-rested, and focusing on your financial wellness is very beneficial to a marriage or relationship.

When we take control of our feelings, thoughts and emotions we position our relationships to move forward.

Self-care is not “selfish”, but can help to advance your marriage to one that is truly governed by God.
